# Add a BitGet Account

Follow these instructions:

1. Login to your [BitGet ](https://www.bitget.com/account/newapi)account
2. Go to the [API Key Management page](https://www.bitget.com/account/newapi)
3. Click "Create API Key"

4. Select "System-generated API Key"\

5. Set the API Passphrase to `tradestream`

Any other API Passphrase will be rejected by our system

6. Set permissions to "Read-only"
7. Press the checkbox next to "Name"

8. Don't set any linked IP Addresses
9. Click Next and then copy paste the API Keys into TradeStream
